Our Success

Since 2010, the Bank has had many successes.

  • Appointed a new executive and management team made up of experienced professionals from the markets we serve.
  • Created a consultative lending culture that has generated new loan production to small busi­nesses and consumers in our local markets.
  • Grew the Wealth Division to nearly $200 million in assets under management and an additional $95 million in client brokerage accounts.


Our History


Rick Hull, Premier Bank & Trust (PB&T) President and CEO, and Denise Penz, EVP, COO and Wealth Manager, decided they wanted to return to their community banking roots. They secured a group of investors and raised $15 million to purchase a controlling interest in the former Ohio Legacy Bank formed in 2000. In February, 2010 PB&T became a reality.

Headquartered in North Canton, Ohio, small businesses and consumers in Stark, Summit, Belmont and surrounding Ohio counties rely on us for commercial, retail, and wealth services. We’re not your typical community bank – our local decision-making and flexibility combined with our big-bank capabilities gives our clients access to a full range of services through people they know and trust. We offer all the products of a larger bank, including trust, private banking, retirement services, wealth management services and investment brokerage services, with the benefits of being local and accessible.
